Utetheisa pulchella (Crimson speckled flunkey) is spectacular migratory moth inhabit dry open places, meadows, shrublands, grasslands and parks. This species occurs naturally in the Mediterranean and North Africa, and most immigrants are presumed to have originated there. These moths have long antennae. These species are toxic and unpalatable to birds. This adult moth found during daytime attracted to light nearby my residence, basks folded wing close to its body on lantana plant in this summer. Its charming beauty captivates me and I framed it instantly.
