Sidi Bou Said is my favorite place in Tunisia!
Sidi Bou Saïd is a village in Tunisia full of history and culture. Sidi Bou Saïd, a place of passage or retreat for artists and painters, overlooks the Mediterranean Sea, the Gulf of Tunis, the ancient city of Carthage and its vestiges. Its exceptional location and view, its colors revealed by the bright sun of summer, and the richness of its traditional architecture have earned it recognition as one of the most charming villages in the world and Nicknamed “the balcony of the Mediterranean”.

The photo taken one morning is that of the famous coffee called “Café des Délices “
Since the release of the song by French singer Patrick Bruel and songwriter Félix Gray, the café Sidi Chabaane, changed its name to “Café des Délices”, and became a major place in Sidi Bou Saïd. The café, built in terraces in the 60s, on the side of the hill, offers a view of the bay of Tunis and, far off, Bou Kornine , one of the mountains located around the suburbs of Tunis. It’s also overlooks the port and the beach, when the weather is nice, you can even see the Cap Bon Peninsula.
