This is a small village called Gordio in the south of France,
While we were leaving this village there was a very nice sunset and so we stopped to take a photo, it is such a beautiful place!
Also to add on your bucket list is the south of France 😉

New on 500px : Stairway To Takrouna by Nedim1968 by Nedim1968

I continue to make you discover some destinations little known in Tunisia, this time, I chose the Berber village of Takrouna!
Takrouna, a small Berber village located in the Sahel Tunisian region , few people know this Berber village which is however one of the oldest in Tunisia.
Built on a large fossilized rock dating back over 2000 years, Takrouna overlooks a plain with a breathtaking view overlooking the gourd of Hammamet, Hergla, Sousse, Zaghouan and the plain of Kairouan, like an eagle’s nest .
Despite the incongruity of the place, a handful of families still live in this small Berber village.
Berber village originally, it was the refuge of families of Moorish fleeing Spain such as Gmach (Gomez), native of Andalusia of the Benaladid region “Ta kurunna”
Takrouna, an unknown village but full of history and charm.
You lose all sense of time, a real journey in time that is worth seeing.
Takrouna, Tunisia, the 19th of December 2017 at 16:11 pm
Good evening and Happy weekend my dear friends!
Thanks for all comments and all support!

New on 500px : For the moment by samaltofik by samaltofik

Running one of my workshops earlier this middle east, we were presented with this incredible display of glory in the mountain. It was a rainy day which managed to scare most of the tourists off and saw us not overly concerned with the lack of light as we watched at leisure some black bears munching berries in a nearby field. During the final moments of the afternoon I saw a faint orange glow appear on the underside of the clouded sky and knew there must have been an opening on the horizon
